Walnut
Rift-sawn American black walnut for paneling and millwork.
Cinematic restraint, warmed by the hand.
Modernism that breathes. Walnut that glows.
Warm Modern is the signature direction at Cutting Edge — the cinematic restraint of modernism softened by walnut, raw bronze, and a fireplace that burns at eye level. The architecture is reductive: clean planes, big steel-framed windows, deep overhangs. The materials are not: rift-sawn oak floors with a 3% finish, hand-rolled bronze hoods, travertine slab walls that show the geology of the stone.
