The Direction

An estate that looks two hundred years old.

Mediterranean Estate is the language of Palm Beach's most enduring residences — Addison Mizner, Maurice Fatio, the houses that look like they were carved out of a Spanish hillside and shipped to Florida brick by brick. We build them new, but we build them old: hand-troweled lime plaster, antique cotto and terracotta tile, carved limestone mantels, wrought iron worked by hand. Every detail looks like it has a story already.

Questions, Answered

Genuine architecture. We work with classical architects who studied Mizner and Fatio firsthand. Every proportion, every detail, every joint is rooted in centuries-old Mediterranean precedent — not a pastiche.
We have partnerships with European salvage yards in Tuscany, Andalusia, and Provence. Most of our cotto floors come from 17th–19th century farmhouses that have been carefully dismantled.
20–30 months for an 8,000–15,000 sf estate. Hand-carved limestone alone takes 4–6 months of artisan time before installation.
